A Day In The Life

Elizabeth Edwards was laid to rest in Chapel Hill, North Carolina recently, but not without protest. A group of “Christian” protesters staged a protest just down the street from the funeral. They were carrying signs that read: God Hates Fags, because Elizabeth was an advocate of AIDS. They claim that because of that God took her sons life and he gave her a cheating husband and He gave her cancer. Somehow, to me, the word hate and God shouldn’t be in the same sentence. I don’t know whose God these people are praying to, but my God doesn’t hate. These same “Christians” protest dead soldiers’ funerals carrying signs that read: send us more dead soldiers. And they walk all over the American flag. It’s idiots like this who give Christianity a bad name. Here are some more people who give it a bad name: Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker, Rod Parsley, Benny Hinn, and those are just the ones I can think of right off the top of my head. These people need to read the Bible. I read it and I don’t remember anything in there about God hating anybody. These Christians have a loose screw somewhere. I tried to do Christian comedy once. I was told by a preacher that Christians shouldn’t laugh. Think about that one for a minute. Christians shouldn’t laugh. It clearly states in Proverbs 15:22 - Laughter doeth the heart good, like medicine. It’s in the Bible. Read the book you preach from you moron. If Jesus came back today I truly believe the first ones he would get rid of would be these stupid Christians. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against Christianity, I’m a Christian; I’m against the stupid people who claim to be Christians. These people who think they are holier than thou. These people who think everybody except them is wrong. Who do they think they are? Where do they get off protesting a funeral? Who are they to say that God hates fags? God made them. Are you saying that God doesn’t love everyone that He made? There is a good side to this story, however. These idiots were greeted by twice as many people protesting them, people who pray to a God that doesn’t hate, people who know what the Bible is all about because these people, unlike the so called “Christians” who claim that God hates, have a brain and they know how to use it. All I can say is let’s be thankful for the fools among us. For without them, how would the wise know they were wise? Hell is full of so called “Christians” like these fools. And there is always room for a few more.
